It is made in USA, of very good quality materials.
I wish it were the kind of fine horse hair and thick lacquer finish I remember on brushes years ago, but I can't find those brushes anymore.
This brush is such a good one that I bought two, and gave one as a gift to a good friend who otherwise wouldn't know how to get one.
This was my first Harper brand brush, but I doubt it will be my last.
