(More customer reviews)I just want to clarify that this product is not produced by Bissell, nor is it any way associated with Bissell and the tag should probably be removed as well as the title of the product be changed to reflect it's actual label: Woolite Oxy Deep Power Shot.
Anyway - this is THE best carpet cleaning product I have used to date. I am a renter with two geriatric cats who create more than their share of messes. I just now cleaned up a vomit/hairball mess on my white/neutral carpet using this product. If someone walked into my apartment, they would not smell, let alone see that anything had JUST been cleaned up. The carpet is a tiny bit damp from the product, but the stain is completely gone and the smell dissipated immediately.
The only thing I must say is that you have to follow the directions listed on the can. When I first tried this product, I sprayed the area and then immediately began scrubbing with a sponge. It caused the carpet's texture to change making it noticeable, and the stain really didn't come out all that well. I was a bit disappointed but decided to give it another try on other stains. The next time I used it, I read the directions and realized that you must spray the area and let it sit for 5 minutes before pressing a paper towel or cloth onto the wet spot - DO NOT SCRUB. All you have to do is be patient and press on your paper towels until you feel that you have gotten as much moisture out as you can. The stain literally lifts right out of the carpet without the need for scrubbing. I give the carpet one final swish over to get it's texture back intact and voila! It's really a great product and I will continue to use it for all carpet stains.
