(More customer reviews)Let's forget for amount about the fact that this stuff is organic, natural, non toxic, "green" etc: it's an awesome cleaner! My floors are coming out awesome! The price is actually similar to prices of "normal" cleaners but it is so much better.
I cleaned the following types of floors with this stuff: vinyl (kitchen and family room), porcelain (bathroom), sealed wood (dining room, living room, hallway), carpet (baby's room). For everything except the carpet I just poured a small amount into a bucket of hot water and mopped. With the carpet I just spot-cleaned with a piece of cloth.
I have a 7.5 month old who is crawling EVERYWHERE and I had relatives with other itty bitties coming over for the holidays. I needed my floors clean, but I also needed them safe for babies who are still weird enough to lick the floor. This stuff did the trick - it started out sudsy but dried super smooth - my floors had a light sheen to them. Even my husband said something about how good it looked, and he's not one to notice the floors (for example, he asked me WHY we needed to mop before everyone came over - hello do you notice the visible dirt build up?! Ew!).
Dirt that we had on our floors: just plain dirt (like, from outside), baby food splats, baby spit up splats, breast milk splats, hard water stains (around bathroom floor), road salt, probably a ton of other things
I'm glad I opted for the unscented (concern about some relatives' allergies) - just had a subtle "I'm clean" smell to it. Kind of like a Murphy's Oil Soap, Original Formula - 16 fl oz smell but more subtle.
