(More customer reviews)First of all - I have to mention, I like my floors really clean, so I have found it helps to put some in a spray bottle, spray - spray the tile and let set a minute or two to soak....
====> the floor machine doesn't get all the way to the corner so a run a broom around the outer edge of the tiled room along the baseboard with the broom after I sprayed the pre-treater cleaner... to make sure the edge got some cleaning too.
The tile I cleaned was a porcelain ceramic tile that was designed to look old (vintage) and this cleaner lifted dirt from the grooves that in the tile old world design. It cleaned well, the "used" water/soap solution was coffee color - even though it had been swept clean before the machine was turned on and mopped on a regular basis. The machine was new and it seemed to clean well (Hoover floormate for hard floors). The rooms also smelled clean.
I used the buy 3 bottles and get one free bottle deal - so that free bottle --- was my pretreater.
Please note: this is a cleaner that is NOT sudsy more like a detergent or cleaning solution.... it cleans without streaks.
I think the machine is better than mopping - simply because when you wring out the mop in the bucket you really don't clean the floor as well as a machine that has a clean soapy water reserve tank and a seperate dirty water reserve tank.
I used this cleaner on tile, it works pretty good.
