(More customer reviews)As a custom furniture maker I am always on the market for a good finish thats hard to mess up. The antique is my favorite of any pre-mixed oil finishes on the market. IT is easy to apply and looks great after. For best results warm it up and apply flooding the surface for up to 10 minutes (lets it soak in farther)then wipe of with a clean rag and PUSH HARD to buff it and really POLISH it up. If desired, use some 600+ grit and give it a quick wetsand with the oil to fill the pores with a slurry of swarf and oil. If you want to build a thicker harder layer faster add a bit of varnish to it. When you're done you may wax for a temporary barrier that will make it shine even more.
