This is an update to my previous review (shown below).
Despite the nauseating smell of this product (which at least fades quickly), I decided to continue using up the bottle, and discovered that it does work very well as a daily shower cleaner, better than the Method product in fact, particularly in regard to preventing buildup. The Method product uses potassium lactate to prevent mold & mildew (same stuff used in food for the same purpose) in combination with solvents; but I think the citric acid (in combination with solvents) in the Martha Stewart product works better at preventing all types of buildup, which in itself helps curtail the growth of bacteria & fungus.
In order to make the smell more tolerable, about halfway through the bottle I diluted the product with water (filled to the top), and added a bit of a naturally-based lemony dish detergent. The lemony oils in the dish detergent helped to put the smell of citric acid "in context", i.e., paired the smell of citric acid with something it would naturally occur with, which made it much less offensive. The detergent also functions like the solvents, so it did not affect the product's ability to work.
Still working on my own solution though; as this product is not only far from ideal in scent, but also expensive.

I've only used this product once, so I can't comment on it's effectiveness. And I won't be using it again because of the following:
I've been on the hunt for a product that can be used as a daily shower cleaner, which according to the label on this product, it can be, if you rinse down the shower afterwards. Nothing wrong with the ingredients list if you're truly opting for "green" & "natural". Unfortunately, the stench of citric acid in this product is positively nauseating; truly made me want to... you know...
I'm very sensitive to chemical smells, so I usually opt for natural scents (or nothing) if possible.
For comparison:
Most of my cleaning is done with distilled white vinegar and baking soda. Vinegar is naturally very strong smelling, but it fades quickly, and doesn't particularly bother me (not true for everyone).
I tried Method's daily shower cleaner; it works very well, however the "ylang ylang" fragrance is radically overwhelming- powdery, cloying, takes over the whole house, and smells nothing like ylang ylang. My nose tells me it is at least a partially synthetic fragrance blend (and the ingredients posted on Method's site would seem to confirm that). Despite that awfulness, if I had too, I would GLADLY accept that awful pseudo-ylang-ylang over the disgusting citric acid smell in this Martha Stewart product.
This product was clearly purposely made without fragrance, in an attempt to capture consumers that have allergies (which I do not). Interestingly, this product did make my nose tingle a bit in a way that the Method product did not. Therefore I have a hard time imagining that someone with allergies and even a mildly sensitive nose wouldn't find this product impossible to endure.
One more product to try, and if that doesn't do it, I'll be off developing my own shower cleaner using my own ingredients!
