(More customer reviews)Since I bought my first mop, I've been on a fruitless search for one that is not a piece of junk. This is no easy task. I HATE string mops, and sponge mops have a tendancy to fall apart, and are generally a pain in the ass to use.
I had a Swiffer at one point, and while I liked the swivel head, I didn't like that (1) the pads were didn't clean a large area before needing to be swapped and (2) the pads were not intended to be reused. (I also had a Swiffer Wet Jet, which is a hirrible product).
A few weeks ago, I bought this one. And I love it. It's all of the benefits of the Swiffer-style design, plus the pads actually hold a decent amount of water and are reusable. I was a bit worried that the pads (I bought 2 extras) might start to disintegrate after a bit of use, but that hasn't happened at all.
My only quibbles are that the latch to change the pads can be a bit difficult sometimes, and that when you're swiveling to the left, the handle can become unscrewed a bit too easily. But Those are tiny details compared to the long string of terrible mops I've tried.
