(More customer reviews)I am a painting contractor and I just bought my second one of these Dust Eaters. We generally vacuum new drywall before priming, but this is more effective and a lot faster, although it does make more of a mess. we always vacuum the floor before spraying anyways, so this isn't really adding a step.
Also, we pole sand existing paint on walls and ceilings before re-coating, and this is the best tool for that application. It can eat all of the dust from the pole sanding. It moves quite well over ceilings and walls.
Give it a try, I think you'll like it.
